Writing can be incredibly tedious work. Not to mention a lonely job. You, your computer, the distractions of the internet and the cats prancing around on your keyboard. Don’t even get me started on character arcs and b stories. Not that I’m complaining. I love writing! I just wish that I had more hours in the day to devote to it. Little chunks of time here and there can be frustrating when you really get your roll on.
Nonetheless, I’m excited to start working on Season 2 of Riley Rewind (I know, I know, where the heck is season 1?! We’re working on it!). Post production is in its final phases, and now that I’ve had a chance to see the series come together I have a better idea of the direction for season 2. It’s also the first time I’ve ever done a sequel to anything, so that experience is rather new. Uncharted territory! How on Earth do we connect the dots and heighten and answer some questions while presenting more?! These are my life problems at the moment. That, and finding time to read and rework my novel (the first draft is sitting on my desk. Exciting!).
I guess I’ll stop procrastinating writing the treatment by writing this blog. Ha.
